Šokiravo gyventojus: vidurvasarį išpjauti medžiai Seirijų seniūnijoje (nuotr. galerija)

ESO nurodymu krito du galingi beržai Laukų gatvėje. Iki šiol dar iš kelmo bėga medžio syvai, o
dalis medienos jau spėta išvežti.

Seirijų seniūnija ošia. Telefono žinutėmis, skambučiais tuoj po Joninių pradėjo atakuoti savivaldybės tarybos Kaimo reikalų komiteto pirmininką Benių Rūtelionį, šio komiteto narę Česlovą Šmulkštienę, Seirijų seniūnijos specialistę Liną Sakalauskienę. Viskas dėl to, kad ESO iniciatyva pačiame vasaros viduryje, nuo Joninių iki Mindauginių, Seirijų seniūnijoje buvo išpjauti žydintys, žaliuojantys medžiai. Nupjovus šalia miestelio žydų kapinių buvusias tris milžiniškas egles, vienoje jų aptiktas, kaip konstatavo specialistai, plėšraus paukščio lizdas. Tokiuose lizduose, pasak jų, paukščiai peri ne vienus metus. Jau nebeperės. Nebus kur. Ilgametės jų buveinės išpjautos, sunaikintos. Tiesa, tai padaryta lyg ir teisėtai, nes šalia eina elektros linija. Tačiau ar būtina buvo tokius darbus atlikti vidurvasarį? 

Apžiūrėti seniūnijos gyventojams padarytos ne tik materialinės, bet ir moralinės žalos vakar į Seirijų seniūniją buvo suvažiavęs visas savivaldybės tarybos Kaimo reikalų ir aplinkos apsaugos komitetas: pirmininkas Benius Rūtelionis, pavaduotojas Rimas Kauzonas, nariai Deivydas Palačionis, Ričardas Dulskas ir Česlova Šmulkštienė. Taip pat – Seirijų seniūnijos specialistė Lina Sakalauskienė ir Seirijų seniūnės pareigas laikinai einanti Noragėlių seniūnijos seniūnė Sandra Jusevičienė.  

Pirmiausia apžiūrėtos nukirstos eglės prie Seirijų žydų kapų, kur ne tik nuversti medžiai, bet ir nugriauta dalis akmeninės kapinių...
